A term long program for students in Year 4. The students get to work in the magnificent space of “Circus Oz” which is directly across the road from our school. Participation in circus activities not only enhances the physical skills and fitness of our students but allows them to take risks, improve focus, persevere, work in teams and hone their performance skills. The circus program culminates with two performances, including ‘Collywood”.
In addition to the term long program two students are selected and offered scholarships to continue developing their skills in weekend programs run at “Circus Oz”.
Collywood is our annual school celebration of the Arts. Students learn song, dance, music, circus skills, film making, costume and set design. Collywood is an opportunity for our students to showcase their skills and talents with both parents and the wider school community.
Homework club is a community based program run in conjunction with The Smith Family, University of Melbourne and Melbourne Grammar. It runs each Monday from 4 until 5 and aims to connect current and former students to trained tutors and assist students in their transition to high school.
